- Product Overview
Nylon 12 is a long-chain polyamide, a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent
properties such as low density, low-temperature toughness, impact resistance, and chemical
resistance. It is used in advanced manufacturing fields such as wall material manufacturing,
new energy vehicles, oil and gas industry, and submarine cable manufacturing. In the 1970s, Nylon 12 was first industrialized by Degussa, the predecessor of Evonik Industries AG, in Marl.

- Product Applications
PA12 is a widely used long-chain polyamide. In addition to the general performance of ordinary nylons, it has low water absorption, high dimensional stability, high temperature resistance,
corrosion resistance, good toughness, and easy processing. It can be used in automotive fuel pipes, pneumatic hoses, submarine cables, 3D printing and other products.
