Dry-type plug-in GIS/transformer terminals suitable for XLPE and EPR insulated cables with aluminum or copper conductors.
• Different models of dry-type KSEV/KTEV terminals are available in design voltages from 72.5 kV to 245 kV.
• KSEV terminals are suitable for installation in gas-filled cable junction boxes for metal-enclosed gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).
• KTEV terminals are suitable for installation in oil-filled cable junction boxes for metal-enclosed oil-insulated transformers.
• A complete KSEV/KTEV terminal consists of an epoxy resin insulator with embedded electrodes, a retaining ring, and a plug portion that is mounted on the cable. The plug portion includes a metal cable connector with a spring clamp and a silicone rubber stress cone for electric field control. The terminal is also equipped with corona shielding.
• Standard conductor connectors are screw-type. Crimp connectors are also available.
